Pulmonary TB

My twin brother has been diagnosed with Pulmonary TB. However due to work pressure he feels he cannot take time off work or leave early etc etc in order for his health to improve. Currently he has holes in his lungs, his kidneys as well as a massive red/white blood cell infection. He also recently had a perforated bowel and polyps removed from his bowel. He has had numerous tests however his GP is a long standing practitioner and perhaps his methods/diagnosis could be out-dated. Please advise what possible additional treatments and/or hospitalisation etc etc could be beneficial as he is 36 years old with a wife and twin boy and girl.

Hi Wayne, firstly this is a medical problem, please forward to relevant page. Secondly from a workplace health perspective - he must get assistance to sort out what sounds like a serious medical potpourri. He should not be at work if he is still 'infectious'.
