PROTEIEN EN/OF SUIWEL &  WATTER SOORT MELK

Hi doc,

Ek het afgekom op ' n ou afskrif van die " porsie eetplan"  wat in Sarie/Rooi Rose verskyn het. Net ' n paar vrae:

1. Is jogurt/kaas/maaskaas suiwel of proteien? ' n Vriendin is op Weighless en volgens haar kan hulle dit as beide gebruik.
2. Maak volroom melk werklik soveel van ' n verskil in jou gewig? Ek bly op ' n plaas en ons gebruik vars melk vanaf die koei. Te ver om dorp toe te ry vir vetvrye melk.

Jou vriendin is korrek. Suiwelprodukte soos jogurt en maaskaas kan as suiwelruile of proteïenruile beskou word. Oor die algemeen sou ek dit klassifiseer as suiwelruile wat in die plek van melk gebruik kan word (bv. een koppie melk = 1 koppie jogurt). Volroom melk, veral direk van die koei, bevat 3 of meer g vet per 100 ml (energiewaardes = 260 kJ/100 ml), terwyl vetvrye melk slegs 0,2 g ver per 100 ml bevat en 159 kJ per ml - wat nogal 'n verskil uitmaak. Miskien kan jy die plaasmelk afroom? of "long-life" vetvrye melk koop as jy nou wel dorp toe ry.
