Prostrate Cancer

My Dad has prostrate Cancer, he is 75 years old and his PSA 14, Gleason Grade III and Gleason Score is 6. What treatment do you think would be best for him. External beam or brachytherapy.

His oncologist would be the best person to answer this - they take a lot of factors into consideration before making the final decision. Usually they give brachytherapy if the cancer is confined to the prostate alone. If the cancer has spread to outside the prostate, external beam radiation may be needed.
