Progesterone &  weight loss

I suffer from PCOS (too much male hormones not enough female ones). I suffer from irregular periods, excessive facial har, male pattern balding, weight gain esp around my middle.

From what i understand all this is caused by too much androgens. So i' d like to know if I increase my progesterone will this help settle the problems i' ve been suffering with for past 10 years.

Your doctor should be the one regulating your treatment. A common treatment is Metformin (normally used for treatment of insulin resistance, but is thought to indirectly reduce androgen levels) and combined oral contraceptives, especially containing the anti-androgen cyproterone acetate.
