Q.

Prodol

Hi Ladies,

I have been giving my LO Prodol for teething, but it seems to make her hyperactive? We only use about 3 drops, no more? Have any of you experienced this?

Hello Charlie
No need to say sorry, you didn't say or do anything wrong. I just merely voiced my opinion on it. This is an open forum and we are all allowed to say what we have experienced to try and help others. That of course excludes the trolls!
Have a lovely weekend ladies!

I used Ashton & Parson for all mine and I must say they all have lovely teeth, my daughter of 19 has never had a flling in her life (yet) I believe my mother also used them they have been on the market for years and years. If they were not good surely they would be off the market by now. It all a matter of choice.

Soory did not intend to do any harm I know it works well, was just going on what I was told by my clinic and pead. Did try it on LO once and he hated it so I cannot really comment on it.

I have been using Ashton & Parsons since my LO got her first teeth and she now has 14. It really works very well and settles the upset tummy that goes along with teething. I have never in my life heard that its bad for their teeth and her teeth are perfect. Think it would kind of defeat the purpose of being a teething powder if it messes up their teeth. Its a lot better than Prodol for sure.

Quick description of it: A herbal product traditionally used in infants for the symptomatic relief of the pain and stomach upset associated with teething. Ashton and Parsons infants powders are intended to soothe the child, check stomach disorders, correct the motions, relieve restlessness, fretfulness, and similar troubles incidental to the teething period, and are useful in delayed or unduly prolonged dentition.

My LO had the same reaction so I just kept using Teegel. Have you tried this yet? You also get I think its called ashton powders try not to use them its not very good for their teeth even though it helps alot. Let LO chew on cold things Like carrot stick dry wors ect that also help alot.
