Probiotics counteract alcohol?

Some sources have reported eating cheese and yoghurt before a night out can counteract the effects of alcohol in the system, i.e. one who consumes this type of products before drinking will not get drunk.
Is there a plausable explanation or do you think this is not true?

Hi Rade
These foods may line the gut and SLOW the aborption of alcohol to a point, BUT they will not prevent you from getting drunk! Sorry.
Never good to drink on an empty tummy!
