Prescription

Hi there
Sometimes my dr encircles a number on my prescription for the amount of pills I should get from the pharmacy and sometimes she does not - is this relevant to the prescription?
Thanks,
D

Hi D

The of tablets/capsules etc. is needed with higher scheduled medicines. Most often a doctor will specify the medicine, its strength, how many times a day it should be taken and for how many days.
