premature aging

i would like to know what causes premature aging and what is the best way to reverse some of the damage.i am 34years old and hypertensive.i take hypertensive drugs but already i look like someone who is 50years old.what could have caused this.

There are a number of reasons that may cause one to look ‘prematurely’ old and the 2 main culprits is the sun and our genetic makeup.

Possible ways to reduce the onset and even reverse the process is to consider the following:

Exercise and a balanced diet

Sun avoidance and the use of a good SPF (50 or higher) that contains zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide

Using supplements that contain vitamin C, vitamin A, anti-oxidants, etc.

Consulting with an endocrinologist who can examine you and take blood tests with a possible view of adding hormones such as testosterone and human growth hormone
