Pregnancy Tests

Hi,

Was just wondering...

With a HPT, is it possible to get a false negative and in this case would a blood test be more accurate? Can you get a false negative with a blood test?

I have symptoms of pregnancy (bloating, spotting, etc), but took a HPT yesterday and it came out negative.

Should I go and have a blood test done to make sure?

Dear Jane
A blood test will be more sensitive than the urine test if you are worried
