pregnancy and running

Hi Doc,

if u suspect u concieved/pregnant, is it advisable to continue to run a full marathon or half marathon even though u not exacly sure? will that not harm de baby?

You will not be sure if you are pregnant till you miss a period. Assuming that you are pregnant, it is not advisable to push your pulse rate or temperature up too high for too long. If you are very fit, this may not be the case even if you run a long distance, but it is more likely that it will.
