pregnancy and power lines

I am currently 5 weeks pregnant and plan to go on holiday in 2 weeks time, the only problem is that the holiday home is about 70m away from a set of those big power lines.

We are staying there for 2.5 weeks - is this a risk?

not unless you climb them and get shocked.

Those huge big sets of lines coming out of a sub station or a power station are to step the current down to domestic use levels. They don''t emit radiation or do any of the sinister things new age nut jobs like Patrick Holford et al claim they do.
