Pregnancy after a birth ( 11 months)

My baby is 11 months old and am preg. again. How true is it that labour will be shorter than before?

There is no evidence to suggest that this is the case. Each pregnancy will be subjected to its own risk factors, and any preterm labour will be purely coincidental in this instance. Provided that your first pregnancy did not end prematurely and there was no birth trauma to the cervix.
