Dear Nunu
It is possible to have a normal baby at 44 years. However it is important that you know that it is very difficult for one to conceive spontaneously at this age. In addition, if you do conceive there are high chances that miscarriages may occur. It is also important to note that having a pregnancy at 44 years has a high risk for chromosomal abnormalities and the one that is most outstanding is the chance of having a baby with Down syndrome. There are however tests that could be done if a pregnancy has occurred to assess for chromosomal abnormalities.
