postpartum problems...

i have a 4 months baby now. i had him by vaginal delivery. from the day of his birth till now i am suffering from lower back ache. i am not even able to bend and change a diaper for him. i am not able to lie flat anymore. for the past two weeks i have got knee pain too. could this be bcos of the weight gain or could there be any other problem? please help. how can i reduce weight without changing my diet? i am exclusive breastfeeding him.

Weight reduction is by: controlling calorie intake. (You can eat healthy and in moderation and still loose weight, without afecting your milk)  and by increasing energy expenditure (ie exercising, such as walking).
Re your back: back ache can be due to a spinal anesthetic  can be due to poor posture (weak abdominal muscles)  can be due to spinal vertebral injury. If you have pain radiating to your knee, you need to see a doctor.
