poor blood circulation in left leg

my dad is 80 this year and he suffers from a half blocked main artery coupled with heart problems as well as a left leg with no heart beat in his foot or knee. he gets Pentoxifylline 400SR and Nicotine Acid 100 mg. what is the alternative to Pentoxifylline?
