Hallo Karlien
Polyostoitic fibrous dysplasia or Albrights disease is a genetic disorder which causes a metabolic disorder. (A problem in the genes of the patient causes dysfunction of some hormones)Symptoms can be treated by manipulating hormones, giving radiation and cortisone but it is not a curable disease as the problem lies inside the patient's genes. Prof D Levitt at Grootte Schuur may be the best doctor to handle his case.
