Dear Cin
H Pylori is a bacteria, you get infected by food or water or kissing ( most people have been infected but only some develop peptic ulcers) See http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/hpylori/
People with diabetes are more prone to H Pylori infections, due to high blood sugar but it does not affect your sugar levels.
