please help!

hi

how do u deal with a situation whereby, the subcotractor has not been paid since november and his employees dit not receive their bonusses, increase and salary as they were suppose to for december but they are also expected to come to work and deliver as if everthing is on track.

Families are suffering, children cant go to school because theres no money to pay school fees and no body cares.

Employer 1 has employed a employer 2 for cleaning the building, and employer 2 obviously has his own employees (14). now employer 1 dont pay employer 2 because he say employer 2 did not submit tax clearence certificate which is required.

is employer 1 right to withold empyer 2''''s payment (November and December) , and what are the rights of emplyees employed by employer 2,because they did not receive their salaries.

Each employer may have a valid complaint and potential legal case against the other ; but I'm not sure they should have the right to so arrange things than workers who actually worked, don't get paid. The Dept o Labour, and any labour lawyer should be able to advise properly on this.

Contact the labour department. They may be able to assist or refer you to someone who can.

It is be to get legal advise. They are not allowed to withhold payment without a valid reason.
