please advise

hi dr,
we are trying to conceive, is it normal that after sex that some cum comes out? and does it make a difference if i urinate after sex/?

Hi Teekay,

Yes it is absolutely normal that some ejaculate comes out of your vagina. THere are millions of sperm cells contained in each ejaculation and some of those will have stuck to the moist surface of your vagina/cervix and will be swimming their way to try to locate an egg... Urination won't make much of a difference as such, but if you wanted to stay lying down for a few minutes after he has ejaculated, it might slightly improve your chance of more sperm remaining behind in the vagina.

Yes some cum will " leak"  out and by urinating it will also " lose"  some.It is probably best to lie down for about 20 minutes or so to give those little soldiers a chance to do their thing.Don' t forget their a millions of little sperms so losing a few is not the end of the world.
