Periods after child birth

Hi Doc,

Its been 6 months after my child''s birth and have not received my periods , Please also advise what are the chances of conceiving should I have unprotected sex as I''m not on a pill during the absence of my periods?

If you are breastfeeding yu will not have periods. You could fall pregnant though.

You will get your periods when you have stopped breastfeeding, thats if you are breastfeeding
