I didnt have period since birth, only got them last month! i was told that its probably the breastfeeding that kept them away. but it does not seem to happen to everyone. Reply to Boni Posted by: Annie | 2012/04/23 I was on the pil for breastfeeding moms from 6 weeks.... and I got my period every 2 weeks (for 7 long days) untill I stopped the pil when baby was 7 months old....Gynes office told me this is normal.....Seems breastfeeding do not nessasarily keep your periods away. Reply to Annie Posted by: Blue spark | 2012/04/23 If you are having a period, then the injection must be worked out and it is normal to have periods even though you are breastfeeding. You need another form of contraceptive, talk to your gynae. they know best. Reply to Blue spark Want to comment?
