Period Pains

Hi, I suffer from really bad period pains but very little bleeding. I have seen a doc on this of which he put me on an ejection (contraception) to stop my periods. I ended up bleeding for ove 3 weeks the last 3 months and now that this is my 4th month, my body is now back to normal with excrutiating pains. What can I do or what could be the course of this.

Endometriosis is a possibility. This can be diagnosed by laparoscopy.
