period missed

i have a 11 yr old daughter who had her period on 07th November last year for the first time. She expected her period again round about the same time in December &  now in January but nothing - not even any cramps or any symptoms. She has a good appetite, is active physically &  is tall &  thin in her built. Is it normal for a girl her age &  built to skip her period for a couple of months or is it something i should worry about??

It is quite normal for young girls to skip periods when they have just started. It can take a few months for the cycle to stabilise.
