PCOS &  Progesterone

Hi,

I' ve suffered with PCOS for about 10 years now. I' d like to know that since PCOS means u have way too much androgens can one take progesterone to help balance a faulty system thus reducing the androgens &  thus facilitating a more normal functioning female hormonal system??

WIll an increase in progesterone not help with weight loss, restore hair growth (head), reduce hair growth (on face), regulate periods....................

I don't think that progesterone is the answer.
