Dear Samantha
Both aldactone and pioglitazone have a category C rating by the FDA which means animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks. Regarding glucophage, this has not been shown to be unsafe in pregnancy, and therefore would be fine to use. With regards to benefit in terms of assisting in falling pregnant, aldactone and pioglitazone will not help, and there as there is no benefit and potentially there is harm , I would suggest talking to your endocrinologist again.
