Hi I did a Pap Smear just before trying to conceive along with all the other blood tests and I am now approaching 5months and my little girl is very well and healthy. If you are overdue and fall pregnant the gynae might still do a pap smear and that will also be fine as well. The specimen is taken from your cervix  it is not a specimen from your uterus.
