Dear Ninja
Taking a SSRI antidepressant like Aropax will actually prevent panic attacks and is less addictive to use - Ativan/Valium and other anti-anxiety tablets work well but usually are quite addictive and can make you sleepy. Please do yourself a favour and see a psychiatrist to get the ideal treatment and also to teach you some techniques to stop an attack - these attachs are very scary and unpleasant and should be prevented from happening at all if possible
