Palm oil &  Olive Oil

1.The japanese snacks write only Palm oil, how to know that it is red or not?
2. Is olive oil safe for cooking?

If the labels of Japanese snack foods just say "palm oil" then there is no guarantee that this is red palm oil that is beneficial rather than palm oil which is loaded with saturated fat. You will either have to contact the companies that import the products and ask them to find out for you or avoid these products to be safe. Olive oil can be used for cooking with safety. Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated or "good" fatty acids and has a protective effect on heart health.
