Painting and construction in Office for 6 weeks

Our Offices are being renovated and painted for 6 weeks - smell is terrible: what are our rights?

Unfortunately your rights are minimal in these circumstances. However, should you believe that the paint is affecting your health you can lodge a complaint with both the department of labour and the CCMA. It is suggested that you obtain a medical certificate from your doctor and this should be presented to the employer as soon as possible.
