Painful breasts

I finished my last period on 15 June, and a few days later my breasts became painfully sore and heavy. Neither the pain nor the heaviness has left, but I have obviously not had another period again as it''s only 15 days later.

Please advise what could be the cause.

Hormonal changes can cause breast tenderness and swelling (especially increased esterogen levels) This can be caused by normal hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy, changing of contraceptive pill or using natural esterogens like soya.
