pain in right shoulder with pins &  needles down arm

I have had pain around my right shoulder, spreading down my arm with pins and needles all the way to my fingertips, for the past 4 weeks now. Could this be as a result of Fibromyalgia which I do suffer from or could it be a pinched nerve?

Dear Lolly,

the most likely cause of your symptoms is a nerve compression in your neck. Unlikely to be from fibromyalgia. The management of the problem would be to start seeing a physio who would refer you further if she did not give you relief
