pain in jaw when chewing/eeting

Please advice. I have a terrible " pain"  in my right jaw,only when I eat ! This feeling only happens when I chew. It is very difficult to explain,as it is not a throbbing pain. Very close to my ear,but deffinately on my jaw. Please advice?
