Pain in buttocks

My Husband (42) has been complaining about a pain in his buttocks. It feels like it may be his cocsyx (sp??). He suffers from piles which bleeds excessivelty at times. He has nor been to the doctor about it. Uses over the counter remedies. He has not fallen but has been riding a motorbike. Could the pain be from the bike or could it be the piles? He is worried that it may be his prostate.

Hallo Tina
It may be irritation of the coccix from the bike, or he may have a problem inside the rectum. Piles do not usually bleed excessively - they normally only give a smear of blood on the toilet paper when you wipe. He may need to have a proper examination of the rectum to check for polyps, infection or cancer as well as for prostate infection or enlargement.
