Dear Anonymous

The pain you describe could be plantar fasciitis, a fairly common foot condition. This is quite noticable when getting up in the morning. I suggest you visit a podiatrist who can recommend an insole to support your arch correctly and give you advice on how to treat it. There is also loads of information on this condition as well as tips on how to treat it on this and other websites.

Regards
Chris
