Unfortunately, medical marijuana is not legal in South Africa and you can be prosecuted for possession of marijuana. There are many strong arguments that medical marijuana does work. On the other hand, there are very good pain killers available on the market. Ask your doctor for a script for Jurnista, which is a new product for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is a slow release tablet and has a very good safety profile.
