PAIN

Hi Doctor,

Thanks for your answer to 1323 -
''Hi Doctor,

What would cause a pain that feels like an injection when the needle is inside you (not at the point of piercing)?. I had this pain twice on my buttocks which lasted about 20 seconds. At times it is still sore.''

Could this be caused through standing for long periods of time?

Thanks

Hallo Des
Yes, it could. Your muscle may go into a spasm or a nerve could be pinched between 2 muscles or in the back. See if taking a muscle relaxant like Norflex helps. (Read package insert before use)
