Ovulating on 1 ovary

Dear Doc

I have had 1 ovary removed due to an ectopic pregnancy. Will I now ovulate only every 2nd month? I' m told that the 2 ovaries normally rotate each month?

Regards

You will ovulate every month. The remaining ovary takes over the function of both.

Best wishes
