Dear Poplap

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

In severe cases of osteoperosis, where a person is old and frail, breaking for instance a hip, can have complications that can lead to death. Modern medicine can however, treat the onset of osteoperosis, as well as complications. Therefore, death will only occur in severe cases.

Treatment of osteoperosis will prevent you from becoming a burden to your family. Please refer to the following link for a detailed explanation about osteoperosis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteoperosis
