Dear Gatta
Osteomyelitis is infection of the bone marrow or bone by bacteria or TB. It is treated by antibiotics but is difficult to heal and treatment often needs to be taken for weeks or months. Sometimes surgery is needed to clean out dead tissue or to implant antibiotic beads.
