Osteochondritis Dissecans

My 11 year old son was diagnosed 4 months ago with OC of his ankle. He is using a moon-walker - we will have his ankle assessed in December again. I see his frustrations with this injury - would it be an idea to send him to a gym? Could you recommend any other form of exercise that could benefit my boy?

Dear Elise
i'm sure passive exercise will not be harmful, but i think you should contact a bio-kineticist or physio to guide you as to the type and frequency of exercise.
