osteo arthritus

does eating foods such as tomato increase pain in joints? my mum suffers from severe pain in her joints. she is on meds and has recently had her gall bladder removed. we had pasta with tomato based sauce last night and she is in extreme pain this morning. connection?

If you had mince meat in the sauce, this is more likely to be the cause of the flare up. Anything that would increase acidity of the blood may also trigger a gout attack
