Hi. I''m HIV positive with a cd4 count of 640 and need to remove my tonsils, what are the risks involved?

You need the physician to establish your general suitability for surgery, and to get you in the best physical shape, as any form of surgery is stressful, and will take its toll on your general health.
Regarding the procedure the same risks apply as for a patient that is not HIV positive, the most noteworthy being the chance of post-operative bleeding.
