off the pill

my husband and i have decided to start a family i have been on the pill for 6 1/2 years .when is the best time to go off the pill? also how long until i can fall pregnant?.im 26 and he is 34years old

You should stop at the end of a packet. After the first 3 months off the Pill, your chances of pregnancy are the same as if you had bever been on the Pill.
