Nuzak and pregnancy

Doc,

What would be your feeling towards using Nuzak and getting pregnant.

I was on Lexamil, but my gynae prescribed Nuzak because I want to get pregnant again, and I tried to be without the pills but my anxiety (not depression) is too much!!

I''ve read that maybe Wellbutrin is a better option.

What is your opinion?

Nuzak would be the antidepressant of choice in pregnancy, not Wellbutrin.

Best wishes

Hallo! I am on 40mg Nuzak (have been for 7 years) as a prophalaxis to migraine. I have just read on drugwatch.com that Prozac can lead to serious birth defects!?!? They are even encouraging people to sign up so they can help with the law suits...! We are trying to fall pregnant, so this scares me. What do you suggest?

Please re-confirm that Nuzak is a safe choice during pregnancy.
