Nutcraker Syndrome?

Is Nutcracker Syndrome the same as pelvic congestion syndrome? I''ve seen it used in the same sentence. Or does one cause the other? Thank you,

Hallo Nic
No it isn't. Nutcracker syndrome can also cause pelvic pain but pelvic congestion syndrome is caused by varicose veins in the pelvis, while Nutcracker syndrome is caused by compression of the renal vein.
