numrous skin boils -

I' m 26yrs , married and I have a 1yr old baby.
Recently I' ve been getting skin boils at least 2 per week. I' ve never had this my entire life. THis has been going on for about a month now. Now for the past 2 weeks I have these lumps underneath my arms - which feels painful like a pimple , but alot larger , and has no pus.
I have my sister in law living with me, and she suffers with this. I noticed after she had the boils I now have them. Could this be because our clothes are being washed in the same washing machine ?
or
could it be stress related for me ?
Note when I first got a boil , I found out she had used my shaving machine.

OR
Could it be some deficiency ?
This is a real bother forme as it leaves ugly scars and i feel really dirty having them on me, seeing that Im absolute clean freek.

Hallo Lisa
These boils are often caused by a bacteria called Staph aureus. It is contagious so can be transmitted by towels, shared clothes, physical contact etc. Treat with Bactroban ointment as soon as the lump starts. Get antiseptic soap to bath with and ensure that she does not use your towels etc.
