Nova-T and pregnancies

Good day

I have an appointment schedule in a few weeks to have the Nova-T inserted. I have heared rumors that babies are born with the Nova-T in their hands...thus meaning that you need to take extra precautionaries (contraceptives) when having the Nova-T or you could fall pregnant.

Have anyone heard of anyone that got pregnant on Nova-T or Mirena even?

All contraceptives have a small failure rate. For the IUCD it is about 2%.
