Our expert says:
Nasal bleeding is common in pregnancy as hormones increase nasal congestion and this in turn increases bloodflow to the nose. An ENT may examine you to find a possible cause, this may be treated with cautery, (burning the nose), but one should first try conservative management, which includes an ointment, and possible nasal spray. First check with your Gynae to establish whether the proposed treatment is suitable in pregnancy.
