No Reason Foot

Hi, I''m not sure who to post this to. My ankle/calf (enkel en voet se hak) is very sore for 2 weeks now, it is not blue but slightly swolen, i did not bumb it or sprain it, the pain is worse during the day and not while i''m sleeping. What could it be and what treatment can i get? thanks in advance.

Hallo Annon
You may have a heel spur with inflammation. It may cause a sharp pain when you walk on the heel, which may be worse in the morning. Taking an anti-inflammatory like Voltaren or Neurofen may help, but you also may need physiotherapy or referral to a podiatrist for a special heel insert to wear in your shoes.
