No more Menstruational Periods

My wife and I are 50, since about July my wife has had no Periods any more. Two Pregnancy Test have been done which were negative. Even using the tablets Nova after intercourse no periods have occured. Is this normal? Does this mean my wife no longer will get pregnant? we don' t want to have children any more. shold some test be performed on her

She can go for a FSH blood test - this will indicate whether she is in her menopause or not.

Your wife is probably going through menopause. This does not mean that she cant fall pregnant though, although it is unlikely, so you should still take precautions. She needs to go to her gynae or GP, so that they can do a simple blood test which will tell if she is going through menopause, then they can put her on the necesarry hormone replacements, or recommend natural products to help her through it.
